Wow, Sony’s Playstation Vue Is Done January 2020
Sony has decided to shut down their Playstation Vue streaming service in January 2020. This leaves the major players of Hulu, Sling, AT&T TV Now and YouTube TV along with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video to battle it out for their customers.
According to PC Magazine at their information, Hulu, YouTube TV and Netflix are the best streaming service providers available today. Amazon Prime Video and fuboTV come in a close second.
I personally have used Spectrum (Charter) Cable and DirecTV to get broadcast cable and satellite services in the past. I now use Hulu and like it…they could invest in some time in their interface as it is not the most intuitive. My brother uses YouTube TV after having major tiling issues with Hulu and his provider, Windstream. That interface is great and the picture is super, but they lack deals with A & E, History and others. My parents are on AT&T TV Now…they were the first to cut the cord with our help and don’t really want to switch. It is OK, but they still continue to have outage issues, which may be caused by the service or Spectrum, difficult to tell.
When you are ready to jump ship, read the PC Magazine information along with the CNET information and make sure you get what you want for channels…if it doesn’t work out, no contracts, so switching is easy.
